The purpose of this short course is to provide information to assist managers in decision making. The first session will focus on animal welfare issues and feeding strategies. The second session will address the status of
cattle and corn markets, risk management tools to enhance profitability and the use of antibiotics. The Veterinary Feed Directive and strategies to deal with it will be discussed.
